Nubwo U3 3.5mm Gaming Headset Review – Nubwo U3 Review

Nubwo U3 3.5mm Gaming Headset Review

Introduction:

We also consider the accuracy of our gaming experiences in terms of resolution, frame rates, and the degree to which our graphics settings can be changed. However, what we hear through our headphones is just as critical as what we see on our game screens. One of the few factors that can completely derail an experience is poor audio. An overly compressed video can be watchable if the audio is clear; but, try watching a clear video with audio that is clipping or out of sync, and it may be a different storey. It’s even worse in sports, where a bad audio environment can cause hearing loss from sounds that unexpectedly turn explosive or enemies that you don’t hear until it’s too late.

A good pair of gaming headphones will help to ensure that these noise issues do not become an issue for you. The best headphones, whether wired or wireless, would use high-quality components to provide clean, accurate audio. Some models can also include custom equalisers and surround sound, allowing you to fine-tune the audio experience for a competitive advantage in gaming. We’ve put together a review of the NUBWO U3 gaming headsets so you can see the benefits and decide if it’s right for you.

NUBWO U3 overview

The NUBWO U3 is made of black ABS plastic and has a chunky, sturdy profile. It weighs 14.4 ounces, which is more than most console headsets. Anything less than a pound, on the other hand, would not be too difficult. On the inside, there is a crosshatched fabric pad and a leather pad along the top of the headband. The pad is available in red or black to match the material on the inside of the ear cups. The headband is easily adjustable and can be stretched to match almost any head. It has a moderate amount of bend but is relatively rigid in comparison to other headsets.

Excellent for console games.

The NUBWO U3’s cord is 5 feet long, which is more than enough for any kind of console gaming. However, if you try to plug it into the back of a laptop PC, it might be too small. It has a 3.5mm tip and can be used with the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. Remember that older Xbox One controllers will need an adapter to attach.

To connect to your PC, you’ll need a splitter that attaches to both the headphone and mic ports. You’ll be able to plug in right away since the kit contains a splitter. A small fob with volume and mute buttons is also connected to the cable.

Ear cup design

The ear cups have a spade shape, with a narrower bottom and a wider top. Deep ridges on the front allow them to be easily grasped and adapted as required. The ear cups’ interiors were lined with a sweat-resistant and relatively comfortable faux leather. However, since the padding is sparse, you won’t get any noise reduction. Change options are restricted because the ear cups do not swivel or pivot. The left ear cup houses a big, strong boom mic. It swivels to get it closer to your mouth, but it isn’t flexible or adjustable in any other way.

Sound Quality of Nubwo U3 3.5mm Gaming Headset

The NUBWO U3 has 50mm stereo drivers that produce better sound than you’d expect for the price. The bulk of your money is specifically invested in the drivers rather than the frame by NUBWO. The sound is really tight, with no sloppiness, buzz, or muddiness. The highs are noticeable without being too loud or causing your ears to ring. Mids are also very visible and cannot be obscured by other wavelengths. This is a must-have for any gaming headset since voices are heard in the midrange. You’ll have no trouble hearing or understanding what your teammates are doing.

Mic and volume

The mic is crystal clear at normal volume levels, and there is no hiss. However, if you raise the profit by more than 10db, you can hear hissing. You won’t have any issues if you keep things going at a steady pace. It does not, however, have noise cancellation or echo reduction, which is to be expected at this price. You shouldn’t have any problems because it’s a directional mic. However, depending on the method, some echo can be detected.

The bass Quality

The bass response is also excellent. It’s clear and concise, and it conveys detail without being muddled. This is particularly noticeable in first-person shooters, which feature numerous explosions and gunshots. You would be able to see where the sound is coming from, but not as clearly as you can with surround sound headphones. You believe the bass isn’t loud enough right out of the box.

However, if you change the EQ to boost the bass, the U3 will be ideal. The NUBWO U3 does not have successful noise cancellation (ANC). This isn’t a big deal at this price point. However, due to the ear pads’ bad seal, you can probably hear some background noise.

Last thoughts

It’s perfect for gaming. The NUBWO U3 has a good voice, a nice microphone, and a low-latency wired interface. They’re lightweight and breathable, so you can wear them for extended periods of time without being overheated.

Positive responses of customer about

These are perfect for playing games with someone online or forming a team to play games in the same place. We have four Xboxes and four of these computers, and we were able to play Diablo together without issue. It was great fun! We played without them, but it wasn’t quite as immersive or as helpful to each other (in our house we were yelling lol).

They’re lightweight and portable, but the sound quality is excellent, with no echoing as long as you’re not sitting too close to another user. We were all playing in separate places, and there was no echo; the only time we were interrupted was when we entered each other’s rooms. It will suit perfectly if you have one of the newer model Xbox controllers with the 3.5mm plug-in. If you have an older Xbox controller, you’ll need to purchase an adapter. This is an outstanding headset for any family who does not want to spend a lot of money.

Negative reviews of customer about

When the family is at home for work or training, this is used for video calls. The earpiece is fine, and the over-ear headphones have moderate sound insulation (good for the wearer to prevent outside distractions, but they can talk loudly and disturb others, making it difficult for them to judge how noisy they are).

The microphone is the source of the problem. After about 2-3 months, the microphone started to crackle and cut out. I experimented with it using a record/playback system (available in Skype, Zoom, and other places) and discovered a few things: 1) the microphone would often work perfectly; 2) the microphone would sometimes not pick up well; and 3) the mute button would sometimes not work or would answer slowly (you hit mute, and it still pics up a few seconds of what you are saying). This could be an embarrassing situation if you don’t use the mute button.
